 Dr. Steven Vennard grew up in Michigan and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University College of Biological Sciences in 1981. He was then accepted to the College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University and graduated in 1985. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Vennard joined the Air Force in 1985 where he served as a general dentist officer. He was honorably discharged in 1990, when he entered the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Residency program at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Dr. Vennard has been in private practice within Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 1994. He joined Midwest Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery in 2005. Dr. Vennard is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgeons, Missouri Association of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgeons, American Dental Society, and the Missouri Dental Society. Dr. Vennard also attends numerous continuing education courses regularly to stay current with the new developments in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Vennard is married with two children. In his spare time he enjoys reading books on history, watching movies, and playing golf.
